Yen Duc village tour is recently featured on Worldly Nomads – a travel blog run by Mr. Barry and his partner Mrs. Laura since the year 2011. Coming from Ireland with a big passion of traveling, the couple Barry and Laura has been to a lot of places around the world and deeply love to share some crazy things and good tips they’ve done on their own very pages.
In 2015, after nearly 3 years since the first Halong bay cruise with Indochina Junk, the couple Barry and Laura came back to Vietnam and experienced our Yen Duc homestay service. It had only been 48 hours in Yen Duc village but Laura has to say such short stay is one of the most emotional travel experiences to date.
Actually, Yen Duc village tour is a community-based tourism program developed by Indochina Junk since 2011 with the purpose of supporting local community and bringing more unique experience to visitors. This destination has been provided an excellent base for discovering traditional cultures, the local daily life, especial the activities related to Vietnamese wet rice civilization by doing the daily farming work in the charming and rustic scenery.
Indochina Junk would like to express a greatest thank to the blogger Mrs. Laura and the video maker Mr. Barry for your excellent work, sharing your great time in Yen Duc village to the world as well as giving hand to support local community. You, like other visitors, motivated and inspired us very much to develop more meaningful community-based tourism programs in the future.
